What Open Bracket is

Open Bracket is a daily coding-challenge game. It is currently a free public Open Beta. Open Bracket+ is not purchasable yet. These terms will receive focused solicitor review before paid subscriptions are enabled.

Accounts and fair play

Open Bracket is intended for people aged 13 and over. You may try a challenge as a guest. An account records official results, rankings, and streaks. Keep your sign-in details secure and provide accurate account information.

• Submit code you are entitled to use and do not automate solving or ranking activity.
• Do not bypass rate limits, Turnstile, submission cooldowns, access controls, or the execution sandbox.
• Do not use the service to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system.
• Be civil in support and feedback messages.

Access may be limited, suspended, or ended where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or another provider.

Open Bracket+ subscriptions

When subscriptions are enabled, Open Bracket+ will be £4.99 per month and renew automatically until cancelled. Paddle is the merchant of record and will show the total price, taxes, renewal terms, and payment details before purchase.

• You may cancel through the Paddle customer portal before the next renewal. Normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and access continues until then.
• Deleting your Open Bracket account cancels an active subscription immediately to prevent future renewal. Because the account and archive access are removed immediately, any remaining paid access also ends immediately.
• Any refund, cooling-off, cancellation, or other consumer right required by applicable law remains unaffected. Paddle handles eligible billing refunds as merchant of record.
• If Open Bracket permanently ends a paid service, future renewal will be stopped and any remedy required by law will be provided through Paddle.

Your code and service content

You keep ownership of code you submit. You give Open Bracket the limited permission needed to store, execute, score, and display the resulting ranking. Challenges, branding, and site content may not be copied or republished except where law or an open-source licence permits.

Changes and discontinuation

The beta may be changed, paused, or ended. Reasonable notice will be given for material changes where practical. A material paid-service change will be communicated before it affects the next renewal.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory rights you have where you live. Contact details are on the support page.
